We need an Estate Planner to focus on the comprehensive management, structuring, and legal transfer of a client's wealth and assets to their chosen beneficiaries, both during their lifetime and after death.

- Conducting Comprehensive Reviews: Analysing the client's total financial situation, including assets (e.g., property, investments, CPF, insurance), liabilities, and existing legal arrangements.
- Assessing Needs: Discussing and understanding the client's wishes for asset distribution, family structure, business succession, and provision for dependents (especially minors).
- Advising on Strategies: Recommending and designing appropriate estate planning solutions (Wills, Trusts, CPF nominations, Insurance nominations).
- Will Drafting: Preparing legally sound Wills in compliance with the Singapore Wills Act, ensuring clear distribution of assets, appointing Executors, and nominating Testamentary Guardians for minor children.
- Trust Establishment: Advising on and setting up various types of Trusts for asset protection, phased distribution, or long-term care of dependents.
- Incapacity Planning: Facilitating the creation of a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) to appoint a Donee to manage the client's personal welfare and/or property and affairs in the event of mental incapacity.
- Nomination Assistance: Advising and assisting clients with CPF and insurance nominations, which operate outside of the Will.
- Legal Compliance: Ensuring all estate plans, documents, and advice strictly adhere to Singapore laws (e.g., Wills Act, Intestate Succession Act, Trust laws).
- Tax Efficiency: Advising on legal ways to structure the estate to achieve tax efficiency, where applicable.
- Review and Update: Conducting regular reviews of the estate plan to reflect changes in the client's life (marriage, divorce, new assets, birth of children) and Collaboration: Working closely with other professionals, such as lawyers, tax specialists, financial advisors, and corporate trustees, to deliver holistic solutions.
- Client Communication: Clearly explaining complex legal concepts and their implications to clients in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Document Safekeeping: Providing recommendations or services for the secure storage of original legal documents, such as the Will and LPA.
