Application Analyst - Clinical Systems

Why we need you
To ensure our clinical and operational systems run efficiently, we need someone who can bridge the gap between IT and business operations. Your role will be critical in maintaining, supporting, and improving IT systems that drive effective patient care and hospital operations.

We're looking for an Application Analyst to join the Digital and IT team at one of the largest Hospital Chains. You'll work closely with clinical and hospital stakeholders to implement, support, and optimize IT systems, ensuring they meet operational needs and enhance workflows.

What we would like
We're after someone who combines technical skills with business understanding and stakeholder collaboration. In this role, you'll:

• Work with business stakeholders to understand operational processes and requirements.
• Propose IT solutions to streamline and improve hospital and clinical workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily IT system issues within SLA, collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and maintain IT system documentation, including functional, design, and test specifications, as well as user guides.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, end-user training, and system implementation projects.

Your keys to success
You'll thrive in this role if you're proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work with multiple stakeholders. You'll bring:

• Degree in IT or related field.
• 3+ years' experience as an application analyst with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of process and workflow mapping and analysis.
• Experience with IT system implementation, preferably EMR or clinical systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent communication skills.
