Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations. This includes financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, internal controls, and process improvements. You will be responsible for group consolidation (2-3 companies) and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Oversight

• Manage full spectrum of finance functions including accounting, reporting, cash flow, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Lead and support any ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Handle full set of accounts and ensure compliance with IFRS, SFRS, and (preferably) US GAAP.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidation is a plus.

Asset & Liquidity Management

•  Monitor cash flow and ensure efficient use of funds.
•  Set up chargeback and cost allocation models.
•  Monitor receivables and ensure timely collections to reduce credit risks.
•  Support evaluation of investments and asset valuation.
•  Advise on financial risks in contracts and legal matters.
•  Work with banks, auditors, and tax authorities.

Business & Strategic Support

• Provide financial analysis and advice to business and commercial teams.
• Support senior management with financial insights for decision-making.
• Track sales and collections and oversee cost and inventory controls.

Risk Management & Controls

• Ensure all financial activities comply with internal controls and tax regulations.
• Implement and maintain accounting control procedures.
• Experience with SOX compliance will be added advantage

Process Improvements & Projects

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Improve internal controls and standardize finance processes.
• Support various ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

•  Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
•  5 to 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience.
•  Strong knowledge of accounting standards and consolidation.
•  Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
•  Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
