about the Job:
This role involves architecting and delivering high-availability support services for mission-critical enterprise platforms and data systems. You will be instrumental in maintaining system integrity, optimizing performance, and ensuring strict quality assurance protocols are met. A core part of your responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement in support practices, leveraging deep technical expertise and strong vendor management skills to resolve complex issues.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, J2EE, JMS, Webservices, Microservices, and UNIX shell scripting. You must also be proficient in legacy systems, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and VSAM.
- Deep technical skills in Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL), DB2, and IBM MQ Series. Hands-on experience with server environments like Weblogic and Tomcat is essential.
- Extensive experience with Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and job scheduling tools such as Control M and OPC Batch Scheduler.
- Proven track record in managing release cycles and deploying components across testing and production environments. Familiarity with GitLab/GitHub and Agile/Waterfall methodologies is a must.
- Proficiency with IT service management platforms like ServiceNow and Jira for tracking and resolution.
- Strong command of Swift products, including Swift Alliance, Alliance Messaging Hub, GPI, and SAG/SNL.
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Ability to act as a focal point for critical incidents and lead cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, performance tracking, and leading support initiatives that span business, security, and infrastructure domains.
- Proficiency in Agile ceremonies and user story refinement is highly valued.
