Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Primary responsibilities of covering small and medium cap companies listed on the Singapore exchange. This will include tasks such as developing financial models for forecasting and undertaking financial statement analysis.
- Prepare equity research reports that are backed up by industry and company-specific data, as well as insights from industry experts and company management.
- Secondary role is to interpret economic and market trends and recommend trading and investment strategies to clients on a weekly basis.
- Conduct weekly presentation of trading and research ideas to internal sales and external clients.
- Keeping abreast with market developments, e.g. new investment ideas etc. that can affect markets across different asset classes.
- Any other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years relevant experience in Equity Research.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- A team player, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
- Able to interact/communicate with internal/external clients with good presentation skills.
- Multi-tasker with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in spreadsheets, databases and Bloomberg.
