Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Investment Analyst to support the Portfolio Managers in the management of segregated accounts of mutual funds, with responsibility for fund analysis, manager liaison, portfolio and marketing support. This is a hands-on role, and the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Portfolio Managers and contribute to the firm's broader investment efforts through disciplined research and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fund Research and Investment Support

• Conduct manager research and perform ongoing due diligence and make recommendations for fund selection.
• Recommend suitable changes on asset allocation and fund switches.
• Collaborate with investment team to develop investment insights and actionable ideas for portfolios.

2. Client and Partner Communication

• Provide regular investment updates to clients and distribution partners.
• Prepare and maintain pitch books, factsheets, and portfolio updates materials to support sales, client servicing, and reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field preferable; CFA designation (or progress toward it) is highly regarded.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio or fund research, or a similar investment role.
• Excellent Excel skills required; VBA or equivalent programming capability is advantageous.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable investment insights.
• Strong writing skills for crafting clear and persuasive research reports and client communications.
• Confident communicator capable of representing the investment team with professionalism and clarity.

Working hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm, 5 days work week
