About Us

We are a dynamic and fast-growing commodity trading company based in Singapore, specializing in base metals and related derivatives across global exchanges, including the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE). To support our expanding trading activities, we are looking for a meticulous and proactive Futures Analyst & Execution Officer to join our trading desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Order Execution: Accurately execute futures trades on LME and SHFE platforms based on instructions from the trading team.
• Time-Sensitive Operations: Place trades during Asian and European market hours; willingness to work occasional late-night or early-morning shifts due to time zone differences (e.g., LME overnight sessions).
• Market Monitoring: Monitor real-time market trends, news, and price movements; assist in generating short-term trading signals and strategy adjustments.
• Daily Reporting: Prepare trade execution summaries, P&L reconciliation, and risk position reports.
• Analytical Support: Assist traders with technical analysis, charting, and research on relevant macroeconomic data affecting the futures market.
• Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (risk, compliance, settlement) to ensure smooth post-trade processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in futures trading, commodities, or financial markets; experience with LME and SHFE is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of futures markets and trading mechanics.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Python or VBA is a plus.
• Comfortable with flexible working hours and night shifts when required.
• Mandarin proficiency is a bonus due to collaboration with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
