Events ManagementReporting to the Head of Golf, the incumbent is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, golf tournaments, driving range functions, and overseas golf trips. The role involves sales, client servicing, and operational support to ensure a seamless and professional experience for all participants.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate golf events, including after golf banquet functions and events held at the Driving Range
Drive sales and bookings for on-course golf events, including corporate tournaments and social activities at the Driving Range
Promote and manage sales for driving range events such as group clinics, and corporate team-building sessions bookings
Support the marketing and sale of overseas golf events, liaising with travel agents, and overseas clubs
Work closely with the Golf Operations, Golf Support to prepare proposals, quotations, and event itineraries
Manage all aspects of event logistics including venue set-up, F&B arrangements, logistics, and manpower deployment
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and proactively develop new business opportunities
Ensure timely billing, collection of payments, and coordination of documentation related to bookings
Monitor event budgets and provide post-event reports and after-event analysis
Ensure excellent customer service standards before, during, and after each event
Stay updated on golf industry trends to better understand client needs and enhance event offerings
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Hospitality, Events Management, Business, or related fields
Golf knowledge or background will be a strong advantage
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic design or presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva)
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and travel overseas when required
