Senior Events Technical Officer / Events Technical Executive [RSIS]
SENIOR EVENTS TECHNICAL OFFICER / EVENTS TECHNICAL EXECUTIVE

The successful candidate will report to Head, Events. He or she will have the following responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support for virtual events, onsite events, and onsite events with virtual participation, which will include:
  • Setting up and taking down equipment;
  • Being the technical operator for events;
  • Performing post-production, including video production; and
  • Assisting with pre- and post-event e-publicity, etc.


2. Provide technical and administrative support for the Events Unit, which will include:
  • Website and social media support; and
  • Maintaining and accounting for technical and other equipment, etc.


3. Ensure compliance with RSIS as well as NTU policies and regulations.

Requirements:
  • GCE A Levels or Diploma with 2-3 years of relevant work experience;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required;
  • Proficiency in the following software is preferred: OBS Studio, Zoom Meeting, Zoom Webinar, Microsoft Teams Live Event, other VTC software (e.g. Webex, Skype).
  • Familiar with audio-visual systems;
  • Experience with technical operations for virtual/hybrid events and/or livestreaming to social media (e.g. YouTube, Facebook) is preferred. Interested applicants should provide information on their previous experiences and links to past livestreams they have conducted, if available;
  • Meticulous and good technical competency; and
  • Pleasant and polite personality.
