Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Research Engineer based in Singapore. The Research Engineer will support the development of new membrane products and improvements to production processes through hands-on R&D activities. Key tasks include conducting experiments, characterizing membrane performance, assisting with material qualification, and performing literature reviews. The role also involves preparing reports, collaborating with the technical team, and ensuring compliance with lab safety protocols, with flexibility to support other R&D tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• R&D activities for a new membrane product or production process improvement
• Support and perform experiments for membrane characterization and evaluation
• Support qualification tests and analysis for raw materials and products
• Literature search for product development and the relevant area
• Provide reports and updates for R&D activities
• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and best practices
• Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the company

Qualifications

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
• Experience in membrane technology is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical/Enviromental), Chemistry, or Equivalent
