Responsibilities:

• Supervise the maintenance team and support the Executives in the maintenance, inventory and documentation of the signalling and platform screen door system in Downtown Line to ensure a safe and reliable system
• Lead and supervise the team in the maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance procedures and safety plans
• Plan, organize and ensure scheduled maintenance activities are performed in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule
• Ensure good coordination, fast response on failures and rectified within reasonable time
• Ensure timely compilation and submission of fault and maintenance reports for review
• Participate in the investigations and fault analysis of persistence faults and remedial actions
• Perform general documentation, proper filings and assist in updating of document and drawings
• Participate in the administration of the maintenance logistics required to ensure proper functioning of all maintenance activities
• Required to drive company vehicles where necessary during work duties
• Ensure good housekeeping practices and security of signalling maintenance office, workshops and equipment room in station and depot
• Perform safety inspection and auditing of the signalling and platform screen door system
• Expected to possess basic inventory management skills in handling of tools, spare inventory accountability in an orderly and safely approach
• Conduct in house trainings for new staff

Requirements:

• Possess a polytechnic Diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics / Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience maintenance environment
• Good supervisory skill, strong in planning and organizing
• Good communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Able to supervise and work as a team at all levels
• A team player, result oriented and self-motivated
• Able to perform 3 rotating shifts
• Must be able to differentiate colors for work purposes
