Looking for a Advanced NDT methods qualified Level III engineer to lead the advanced NDT team and support various projects in ExxonMobil , Oil & Gas/Marine & Offshore industries .For this position, having qualifications such as ExxonMobil UTG, PAUT, and other relevant certifications is a requirement.You will be directly involved with technical aspects and client relationship aspects to ensure smooth project flow and highly competent services.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• ExxonMobil UTG, PAUT, and other qualifications is must for this position.
• Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Examination of welds and corrosion scanning.
• Perform PAUT/TOFD inspections on Piping, Vessel and Tank.
• Perform ACFM / ECT inspection for surface / near surface inspection.
• Perform and coordinate RT/DR/CR.
• Perform ARC PMI (OES), PMI (XRF)
• Perform UTG, MT, PT, UT.
• Perform Eddy current / RFT/MFL/IRIS test of Heat exchanger tubes for internal corrosion and wall reductions.
• Perform the Holiday inspections for internal and external coating thickness & failure.
• Follow up on technical issues ability to carry out root cause analysis and provide corrective and permanent solutions to clients.
• Frequent On-site visits to Operations facilities to review job scopes and recommend assuring the optimum results are achieved from the NDT service.
• Conduct training programs for Level I and Level II individuals in the specific NDT methods.
• Review and approve company and third-party NDT Procedures.
• Witness / Perform welding activities, NDT activities, Leak and Hydro test during shutdown.
• Coordinate NDT activities during on-stream and shutdown inspection and supervise NDT jobs performed by the Contractor.
• Radiography Film Interpretation according to the National and International Standards.
• Evaluation of advanced NDT Equipment specification and implementation of special NDT techniques and maintain NDT Documentation. Supervise NDT Technicians and develop their ability to become fully qualified technician.
• Prepare reports and the results of examinations are maintained.
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Testing of materials or equivalent with ASNT Level III qualifications.
• Must have a minimum 10 years of working experience in ANDT (PAUT, TOFD, ECT, IRIS, RFT, DR/ CR) in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical Industries.
• Strong knowledge of M&E details, working drawings and local construction practice.
• Experience in the maintenance and operations and hands trouble shooting ability of NDT equipment and software.
• Good technical knowledge of NDT, PAUT & TOFD and ASNT Level III certification.
• Ability to work with project consultants and engineers.
• CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2, AWS CWI / SWI, PCN Level 2 UT, PAUT considered as additional supporting qualification.
• NEA L6 or L5 Licences added advantage.
