EngineeringKey Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the implementation of BMS systems across construction projects, ensuring work is executed in accordance with specifications and schedules.
• Coordinate with M&E contractors, main contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth integration of BMS systems.
• Conduct site inspections, supervise installations, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, including wiring diagrams, I/O schedules, control drawings, and method statements.
• Support project planning, including resource allocation, timeline tracking, and progress reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and workplace safety standards.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of components and works.
• Troubleshoot issues on site and provide effective technical solutions.
• Participate in system handover, testing, and final commissioning of BMS systems.
• Prepare project documentation for submission and as-built records.
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in BMS/ELV/M&E project engineering roles.
• Prior experience in construction project environments in Singapore is a must.
• Strong knowledge of BMS systems (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, etc.).
• Familiarity with HVAC, ACMV, fire alarm, lighting control and energy management systems.
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and lead site execution teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills with various stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
\t• \tFamiliar PLC and SCADA programming, BACnet, Modbus protocols.
\t• \tExperience with project documentation for BCA, SCDF, or Green Mark requirements.
\t• \tPossess own transport is an advantage.
