Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Construction Machinery Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery including excavators, tipper lorry, 14ft lorry and electrical tools. You will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment is in safe and working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in excavators.
• Responsible to ensure machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and overhauls of heavy equipment.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-repair inspections to ensure proper functioning.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment components, including engines, transmissions, undercarriage, etc.
• Use diagnostic tools and follow manufacturer guidelines for repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service reports.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Liaise with supervisors or customers to explain repair needs and costs (if required).
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience repairing heavy vehicles and equipment.
• Min Nitec in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical knowledge of excavators, tipper lorry, 14ft lorry and other construction site machine is a must.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components.
• Able to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or workshop environments.
• Possess relevant certifications in mechanical or automotive engineering is an advantage.
• Basic communication skills in English (and other languages is a plus).
• Must be able to work overtime and rotating shift.
• Valid driving license for heavy vehicles (preferable but not mandatory).
