We are seeking an experienced Senior Photonic Chip Processing Engineer to drive the development and optimization of wafer-scale photonic chip fabrication processes. In this role, you will work on advanced photonic device integration, process development, and yield improvement for next-generation photonic technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process development and optimization for photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
- Develop process flows to improve yield, device performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with foundries, vendors, and internal teams to enhance process scalability and manufacturability.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience in photonic chip processing.
- Strong expertise in semiconductor processing, cleanroom fabrication, and photonic device characterization.
- Hands-on experience with lithography, plasma etching, thin-film deposition.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in III-V semiconductor processing.
- Prior experience working with commercial foundries and research institutions.
