Global Quality Operations Central Planning (GQCP) is gearing up systems to support future product technology to ensure smooth operation, planning and automation.

As an Industrial and System Engineer in GQCP Team, we will be responsible to help the team to move fast and effectively on automation by being the responsible to gather process functional requirements from business subject matter experts, translate to IT user requirements, work with IT on solutioning, build test cases, and support User Acceptance Test. We will collaborate with various stakeholders such as operations team, engineering team, IT, various central teams and vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams to setup system capability and physical capability, as well as integration of both system capability and physical capability for automation towards lights out operations
  Gather process functional requirements from business SMEs and translate to IT user requirement
  Co-work with CP to work w IT on solutioning (e.g. what could be existing capabilities, what is new to create)
  Build test cases
  Support User Acceptance Test

Requirements:

• Effective written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial and System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• Experience or at least willing to learn, in the following areas:Developing software application and business intelligent solutions (Tableau or Microsoft Power Platform)
  Strong knowledge of relational databases, table design, SQL query and optimization of queries.
  Familiar with database management system (Microsoft SQL, Hana or Snowflake)
  Powerful skills in data presentation (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong critical and analytical thinking skill.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously.
• Able to work in several areas of a project development life cycle.
• Great teammate, preferably with experience working on projects with global collaborators.
• High adaptability and flexibility to deal with variety of problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
