EngineeringRoles & Responsibilities:
• \tExecute and witness NDT (UT/PAUT, RT, PT, MT) and inspections as per ASME, API, and client standards for boilers, piping, and structural components
• \tVerify materials (mill certificates, weld maps) and fabrication processes (fit-up, welding, PWHT) against project ITPs and applicable codes
• \tEnsure compliance with EPC contract specifications for mechanical completion and system handover
• \tReview P&IDs, isometrics, and GA drawings to align inspection activities with design requirements
• \tLead HAZOP and risk assessments; troubleshoot field issues including corrosion and weld defects
• \tMonitor hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests, system flushing, and reinstatement activities for turnover readiness
• \tCoordinate inspection schedules with EPC contractor and subcontractors; resolve non-conformities efficiently
• \tSupport commissioning by verifying completion of pre-startup activities such as hot oil flushing and valve tagging
• \tMaintain inspection documentation including RT films, ferrite tests, and relevant QA/QC records for final dossier compilation
• \tReport deviations and track corrective actions to ensure alignment with project milestones and deadlines
Requirements:
• \tDiploma in Mechanical Engineering + 5+ years in power plant/EPC inspections.
• \tCertifications: API 510/570/653, CSWIP 3.1, NDT Level II.
• \tProficiency in welding inspection, CUI/CUPS programs, and fracture mechanics.
• \tMobility for site assignments and fluency in English.
