We seek a talented and enthusiastic Senior Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in backend development, DevOps practices, network automation, and platform integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, maintain RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI, Pydantic) & Java (Spring Boot, JHipster).
• Implement DevOps pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and related tools.
• Integrate with and synchronise data across external systems (e.g., Infoblox, Cisco Prime, BlueCat BAM).
• Collaborate on ServiceNow development including frontend catalog work and ITSM integration.
• Maintain and improve automated network orchestration platforms.
• Lead modernization efforts such as migration from Winsock to RESTful APIs.
• Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend development and DevOps.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular, Spring Batch, Kafka, JHipster, ELK stack.
• Proficient with containerization and CI/CD tools.
• Familiar with ITIL/ITSM frameworks; ITIL v4 certified.
• Prior experience working with multinational clients is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• ServiceNow certification or hands-on experience with advanced modules.
• Knowledge of ethical hacking or forensic investigation (CEH, CHFI certified).
• Published research or contributions to academic/technical publications.
