Due to Val-Technik's plan to increase its presence and expand its business, we are looking for an aspiring and driven Engineer.

The engineer will be based in Singapore, and will be responsible for all engineering matters in the company. The responsibilities include supporting engineering matters from assisting the sales team on technical enquiries to executing hands-on work (e.g. product assembly... etc.) and completing/supervising on-site activities (Project management). The first task is to quickly get a grasp of the company's existing engineering knowledge and to support the Business Development and Sales Team from initial client engagement to project completion. Secondarily, engineers have to assist in improving the accessibility of the engineering knowledge to the Engineering and Technical Team and other colleagues. You are part of the Engineering and Technical Team and will report to the Engineering Manager.

What will the engineer do?

• You will acquire new product and application knowledge to build on the company's engineering and expertise.
• You shall assist on preparing or reconsolidate Installation, Servicing, Repair and Maintenance (ISRM) Manuals for the company's products and periodically conduct trainings for our technicians using the ISRM as a reference.
• You shall aid the preparation product assembly manuals and periodically conduct trainings for our technicians using them as references.
• You will manage vendors/contractors for site jobs or for product delivery.
• Accountable for the provision of product drawings (i.e. isometric, orthographic, dimensioning, sectioning, assembly, cross-sectional views... etc.) and system schematic drawings for customer submissions or project submissions.
• You are to attend any site meetings and activities whenever required.
• You shall oversee and perform (when required) installation, servicing, repair or maintenance of our products on-site and off-site.
• You shall also oversee and perform (when required) assembly and testing of products.
• You will assist the Sales team the day-to-day customer enquiries, questions and issues.
• You will provide support for the Sales Team for quotations requiring deeper technical knowledge or are of installation, servicing, repair or maintenance nature.
• You will also work with the Sales Team for projects and tenders in understanding and interpreting tender documents (i.e. tender specifications and drawings).
• You may have to support the Sales Team for presentation and meetings that requires deeper technical knowledge.
