The Role

This entry-level position supports the engineering team in the operation and maintenance of data centre facilities, with a focus on mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems. The Assistant Engineer will perform routine inspections, respond to system alerts, assist with maintenance tasks, and support project coordination to ensure all systems remain operational and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations and maintenance of critical M&E systems
• Respond to alarms, faults, and BMS/EMS alerts
• Assist in planned and emergency maintenance activities
• Coordinate with contractors on site projects and installations
• Support customer move-ins and service requests
• Comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and facility management guidelines

Your Profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Work-Study Diploma participants or those with hands-on experience are welcome
• No prior experience required - training will be provided
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work on a 24x7 rotating shift schedule
• Flexibility to work at both North and East locations when required
