Requirements:
- To create comprehensive, viable and competitive cost estimates based on given mechanical drawings, specifications, instructions, and standards.
- To manage and ensure the efficient throughput of assigned jobs based on given targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidates without the necessary qualifications but with relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the fields of engineering, manufacturing, servicing and repair of aircraft tooling, GSE's, and/or similar equipment.
- Sound working knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, GD&T, materials, surface & heat treatments and equipment testing.
- Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment including CNC and conventional machining, steel and aluminium fabrication, welding and sheet metal work will have an advantage.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications.
- Conversant with international and aviation standards.
- Must be able to work independently yet equally adept as a team player.
- Must be able to multi-task and communicate effectively (oral, written and videoconferencing).
- Salary will commensurate with experience.
