JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Ensure all designs are delivered on time and within scope as per project specification and client requirements.

• Attend meetings at the shipyard & other clients, and conduct the presentation of design drawings and documents for submission to the classification societies or the clients.

• Assist and support the project manager, engineering manager and general manager with his scope about site technical issues.

• Successfully manage the technical relationship with the shipyard and other clients.

• Create the technical specification to be given to suppliers, liaise with suppliers or sub-contractors, follow the technical part of procurements; and assist out purchaser in order to negotiate with suppliers & sub-contractors.

• Assist the Commercial department in preparing cost estimate of HVAC projects from clients request for quotation (RFQ).

• Plans, prepares and estimates bids for fixtures, installation and maintenance of equipment.

• Ensures that emergency equipment, communication and electrical system are in place.

• Improve work procedures continuously.

• Confers with department heads to coordinate electrical & instrumentation activities of project.

• Resolves electrical and instrumentation issues.

• Assists with upgrades, roll-outs and the setting up of equipment.

• The above mentioned duties and responsibilities may be subject to changes when the need arises and as directed by superior.

• To involve Electrical Detail Engineering Work concern with Electrical Load, Transformer, MCC sizing. Short Circuit Calculation, Transient Load Study, Motor Acceleration, and Protection Relay coordination, Termination, Layout, Hazard Area Classification, Material Take-off, TBE and Procurements.

• Designs, plans, and handles testing, commissioning, software programming and supervision on site for BMS on project plan, specifications, and contract documents.

• Analyses plans, specifications, and contract to determine project requirements.

• Prepares submittals containing schematics, descriptions and technical literature as required. Maintains current design documents throughout project duration.

• Prepares engineering re-estimate reports and minimizes report variances.

• Perform testing & commissioning of BMS.

• HVAC experience and sequence of preparation for BMS

• BMS technical submittals preparation, method of statement, compliance statement and OMM.

• IO point schedules, assignments and materials selection with value engineering

• Be aware of all kinds of risks and their controls in your work environment
