Job Scopes:
- Conduct routine inspections of safety and firefighting equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory and international standards.
- Perform maintenance and servicing tasks on safety and firefighting equipment, following manufacturer guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Test equipment and systems, such as fire detection, alarm systems, lifeboats, and hoisting mechanisms, to verify operational readiness.
- Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in safety systems, addressing issues caused by operational or environmental conditions.
- Ensure all life-saving and firefighting equipment is fully operational and ready for immediate deployment in emergency situations.
- Adhere to national and international safety regulations and standards, such as SOLAS, IMO, and local maritime authority guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and certifications to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in marine fire safety services or a related maritime field preferred
- Demonstrates effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to work independently. Capable of handling physically demanding tasks and adaptable to varied work schedules
