- Lead the design of new mechanical components and systems, as well as enhancements and verification testing of existing equipment
- Execute structural analysis, modifications, and testing of semiconductor equipment in alignment with overall system specifications
- Manage all phases of the development cycle-from design proposals to production release-while ensuring thorough documentation
- Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOM), produce high-quality assembly drawings, and prepare detailed assembly instructions and specifications
- Deliver advanced technical support to field engineers and customers during critical evaluations, with occasional international travel as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Precision Engineering
- 3-8 years of experience in machine design, particularly in machinery or high-precision automation systems
- Proficient in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks; certifications such as CSWE or CSWP are a plus
- Hands-on experience with finite element analysis (FEA) software
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Structural and modal analysis
• Thermo-mechanical analysis
• Fluid dynamics analysis - Comprehensive experience across the full design cycle-from concept development and prototyping to final product realization
- Skilled in evaluating design proposals, specifications, and technical documentation to assess feasibility, cost, and design requirements
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in presenting technical concepts and writing clear, concise reports
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
