1. Monitor and report on power/network/system outages. Provide timely customer and internal updates using the ticketing system.
2. Work flexible shift schedules
3. Provide rotational on-call coverage
4. Report to the facility within a 1 hour average for emergency outage assistance
5. Perform Remote Hands services when necessary for both customers and internal including but are not limited to the following services:
6. Data Center rack, stack, and equipment provisioning
7. Maintain overall Data Center rack cleanliness and appearance and perform cabinet/cage audits
8. The cable terminates and dresses fiber or copper network cabling
9. Power cycling of equipment (including customer equipment)
10. Server, Blade/Card, Memory, Hard Drive, and Transceiver installations or removal
11. Testing and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic circuits
12. Perform migrations of equipment, power, or networking devices
13. Arrange to ship and receiving of packages
14. Equipment testing, and assist with the diagnosis of hardware and software
15. Receive, install, and test customer and internal cross-connects of copper and fiber optic interconnections

Minimum Qualifications and Requirement:

1. ITE graduate or Diploma in IT Field or relevant, Fresh graduates are welcome

2. Willing to travel around the island

3. Able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds

4. Able to bend, stoop, and stretch as required for placement and retrieval of network devices, materials, or equipment

5. Able to climb ladders (up to 16 feet) to reach plenum spaces

Desired Job Skills/Knowledge (as an advantage)

1. Experience in Telecommunications or Data Centre related field

2. Knowledge of basic electrical theory (AC/DC, Power, Current, Voltage)

3. Basic network knowledge

4. Basic system knowledge (Linux, Windows)

5. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

6. Professional business communication and interpersonal skills

7. Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
