Senior / M&E Engineer (Engineering Building Consultancy)

Our client is a well-established consultancy firm in the built environment sector, with a strong track record delivering complex and large-scale projects across high-technology facilities, healthcare, institutional, industrial, commercial, and residential developments. In anticipation of two major upcoming building projects, they are seeking experienced Senior or M&E Engineers to join their growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering works throughout the project lifecycle - from design development to site implementation.
• Review and oversee M&E design drawings, technical submissions, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and regulations.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems within the overall building design.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure that M&E works progress according to approved plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise during design, tender, and construction phases.
• Assist in cost estimation, tender evaluations, and value engineering exercises.
• Participate in client and consultant meetings, and prepare reports and documentation as required.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers (for Senior roles).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E works for building projects (for M&E Engineer role).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities (for Senior M&E Engineer role).
• Solid understanding of building services engineering, including local codes, industry practices, and authority submission procedures in Singapore.
• Experience working on large-scale or complex developments is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.
