Our client delivers quality fire protection solutions in the Oil & Gas & Offshore and Marine industries. They specialise in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts on Fire Protection Systems.

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking highly competent and self-driven Junior Mechanical Engineers (Piping Design) to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for performing piping design and layout forprojects in compliance with client specifications, industry codes and safety standards.

Working days: 5 day work week

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform piping design and layout for offshore and marine projects in compliance with client specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to assist in the design and development of Fire Protection System & Modular Skids
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of piping systems using relevant design software.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of piping systems with other project components.
• Prepare piping material specifications, hydraulic calculations, stress analysis, and reports.
• Conduct design reviews and assessments to ensure quality, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely material availability for project execution.
• Participate in design meetings, providing technical input and solutions to design challenges.

Requirements:

• Singaporean
• ITE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Training will be provided.
• Experience in piping design for Fire protection Engineering Project for Oil & Gas & Offshore market is an advantage.
• Proficient in 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, PDS, PDMS, 3D SolidWorks or similar).
• In-depth knowledge of piping materials, stress analysis, and design codes (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
