Assistant Service Engineer | 5 Days | Up to $3.2k | Tuas

• Salary: $2,800 - $3,200 + OT
• Working days: Monday - Friday
• Working hours: 8:30am - 4.30pm
• Location: Tuas (Company pick up at MRT available)

Overview

Supports the service team in carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and machinery.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy machinery or equipment on-site or in the workshop.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of heavy machinery or equipment.
• Support in diagnostics, troubleshooting and technical assessments.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance under supervision.
• Prepare service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Liaise with customers during service visits, ensuring professional conduct and communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workshop environment.
• Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures during service activities.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by manager.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of relevant working experience is preferred.
• Forklift or other licenses (Class 3) will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
