CS&Q Assistant Engineer

• Working Days: Mon - Fri
• Working Time: 7.30am - 4pm
• Salary: Up to $2,300
• Location: Tuas

Role and Responsibilities

• Drive quality programs and directives in order to create a quality conscious environment in the organization
• Manage the Quality Management system that meets ISO 9001:2000 and monitor its effectiveness
• Customer Interactions - Interact regularly with customers to better understand their expectations and concerns & Represent the voice of customer and drive the customer centricity within the entity
• Customer Complaints Management - All customer complaints are cleared within a defined timeline with 1st level investigation. Perform analysis and use Continual Improvement techniques. (Eg. 8D) & Document the process and build up a strong Root Cause Analysis Platform to fast track assessment on where the issues are located (including PFMEA & PCP improvement)
• Supply Management - To measure and monitor suppliers / upstream delivery quality performance & Conduct regular quality review to address key quality issues and processes
• Analyze investigation reports and information received and make independent recommendations to management.
• Identify areas for improvement in current work processes and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence of quality issues and production inefficiencies
• Ensure parts are in full compliance to required specifications through proper document control
• Drive qualification of products, process and equipment with various stakeholders in accordance to the procedure
• Training and coaching of CS&Q Inspector and Operators to ensure full competency in performing quality-related tasks
• Evaluate current performance level and drive improvement projects in line with SPS (Schneider Performance Standards)
• Implement quality digital tools as part of smart factory transformation

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma holder in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Certification in Six Sigma Green belt will be an added advantage
• At least 1-2 years in Customer Satisfaction & Quality in Manufacturing
• Candidates must have a customer champion mentality
• Exhibit good leadership and communication skills
• Possess good process and analytical skills
