Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee all plumbing and sanitary project activities from inception to completion.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring realistic timelines and cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. - Team Leadership and Supervision:Lead and manage a team of technicians, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring smooth project execution.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Provide direction and guidance to on-site staff, resolving issues and offering solutions to challenges that arise during project execution. - Client Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, timelines, and budgets.
Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the project. - Budget and Resource Management:Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within budget constraints.
Procure materials and manage inventory to ensure timely availability of resources, avoiding delays and cost overruns.
Track project expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives, without compromising on quality or safety. - Risk Management and Problem Solving:Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies to minimize delays and disruptions.
Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise, including design changes, delays, and unforeseen obstacles.
Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuously improve project execution processes. - Reporting and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and safety records.
Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, keeping all stakeholders informed of key developments.
Ensure the timely submission of invoices, accurate tracking of payments, and clear financial documentation.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the plumbing, sanitary, or construction industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, sanitary installations, and construction processes.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and resource management.
Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or similar is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to visit construction sites regularly and perform site inspections.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (outdoors, construction sites, etc.).
