About the Job

The PLC or SCADA Engineer will be responsible for development and commissioning of PLC or SCADA programming. He/She is required to work with the team onsite and support the project to ensure that all works are carried out safely and comply with client's requirement.

Responsibilites

1. Developing Process Functional Design including Control write-up and Control Schematics
2. Developing PLC or SCADA engineering and programming
3. Testing and commissioning of PLC or SCADA programming with user
4. Integration with PLC/DDC and other controllers, Routers & Gateways
5. Development of Hardware and Software Design Specifications and other Software/Test documentation
6. Required to prepare permit to work and risk assessment c/w pre-task plan
7. Required to preparation of materials for critical works and present to the client for approval
8. To perform any ad hoc duties assigned time to time

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Control systems like water treatment plants, semiconductor industry etc
• Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics)
• Experienced and certified of major SCADA like Wonderware ArchestrA and WINCC preferred
• Knowledge of in major PLCs like Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley PLC preferred
• Knowledge of standard Communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, Melsecnet, ControlNet, BacNet/IP preferred
• Experience in System Training and System O&M Documentation
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
