Summary:

Support in process improvements, customer returns, cycle time reduction and scrap reduction initiatives.

Job description:

▪ Work closely with Process/Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and improve the

process capability.

▪ Ensure the scrap, production yield and cycle time reduction targets are met.

▪ Review process issues, NCR and conduct failure analysis.

▪ Updating of Manufacturing work instructions/routers.

▪ Participate in cross-functional teams on various improvement projects.

▪ Conduct Evaluations/Special Build Request.

▪ Support QA for failure analysis and identification of corrective action for customer returns and internal CAR's.

▪ Preparation of the failure analysis report on customer return parts.

▪ Co-ordinate and expedite First article build with Production.

▪ Participate as a team player in maintaining a conducive, healthy & safe work

environment.

▪ Maintains good housekeeping, safety and discipline in work area.

▪ Hands-on experience in assembly of prototype module.

▪ Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.
• Min 3 to 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Possess good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
• Good knowledge and skill in Solidworks is an added advantage.
