Our client is a leading marine technology provider seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join their team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for servicing, installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting a range of marine communication and navigation systems.
• Provide technical assistance to service coordinators through phone and email support.
• Carry out installation, commissioning, repairs, and troubleshooting at shipyards, anchorage points, and overseas locations.
• Ensure consistency and compliance in testing procedures and results.
• Complete installation and commissioning assignments with accurate and timely reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation for all service, maintenance, repair, and warranty activities.
• Collaborate with service coordinators and vendors to address equipment issues, offering effective technical solutions and ensuring customer requirements are met.

Requirements

• Experience working with equipment such as Radar, Echo Sounder, Autopilot, Speed Log, Radio Equipment (MF/HF, VHF), FleetBroadband, VSAT, GMDSS etc., will be advantageous.
• Must be open to overseas travel, often on short notice.
• Able to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
• Display professionalism and a positive attitude while representing the company in all interactions.
