Design Engineer/ Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities:

• \tGeotechnical design, analysis and assessment for ground improvement works, foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope, instrumentation, and site investigation.

• \tPlan, design and coordinate for geotechnical/ civil engineering and infrastructural design and site works.

• \tEnsure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice.

• \tCoordinate all design related matters with Client / Design consultant / Subcontractor / Specialist / Construction team

• \tProject Coordination and carry out analysis and design of civil, structural, bridge and geotechnical engineering discipline.

• \tFamiliar with design software. eg. Tedds, Prokon, Plaxis 2D/3D, Staad Pro, SAP, Robot, Geostudio, etc.

• \tManagement of construction contracts.

• \tPlanning site investigations, review field/laboratory test data and prepare civil structural and geotechnical interpretative reports.

• \tPlanning instrumentation, monitoring and review/ analyse instrumentation data.

• \tAuthorities and attending project meetings

• \tAny other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements :

• \tCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

• \tMajoring in geotechnical or related subject is advantageous.

• \tFamiliar with using geotechnical design software.

• \tGood communication and interpersonal skills

• \tAble to work with minimum supervision and as a team.
