Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Structure Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the fabrication and installation of steel structures for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review structural designs and drawings for steel structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate steel structure designs into overall project plans.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to determine load requirements, stress factors, and material specifications.
• Oversee the fabrication and installation of steel structures, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
• Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project proposals as required.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source materials and manage inventory levels for steel structure components.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in steel structure engineering within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla).
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, BS Codes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects in Singapore.
