Roles & Responsibilities

• Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.

• Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.

• Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.

• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering effective communication and teamwork.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and site records.

• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, implementing appropriate measures to ensure project success.

• Review and prepare detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.

• Control and manage resources, including site progress, manpower mobilisation and equipment deployment.

• Plan daily, weekly and monthly work for each section and liaise on work tasks and construction methods to be used with the foreman and workers.

• Check quality and quantity of subcontract work done.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field .

• Demonstrated experience in construction site engineering min 3 Years.

• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (AutoCAD, MS Office, etc.).
