(A) Essential Job Functions:

The Senior C&S Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Civil & structure design, analysis, and assessment for foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope, instrumentation, and site investigation.
• Conduct inspections and checks on work performed by subcontractors
• Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations.
• Prepare project-related reports and method statement for submission.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

(B) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in construction industry with Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or recognised Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction supervision for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
• Experience in MRT/LTA projects is a definite advantage.
• Prior experience in working in construction site preferred, especially in Civil Projects.
• Work location at Project site office.

(C) Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Working knowledge of general construction knowledge, especially in Civil Projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time.
• Ability to analyse and synthesize complex issues quickly.
• Able to work overtime and be on standby when required.
