JOB DESCRIPTION FOR Assistant Engineer

We are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented assistant engineer to join our team. The assistant engineer's responsibilities include completing all given, safely and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation stages of projects. You should be able to diagnose problems and follow instructions in fast-paced environments.

To be successful as an assistant engineer, you should be passionate about your engineering discipline and demonstrate strong logical and critical thinking skills. Outstanding candidates are able to keep track of project expenses, write detailed reports, and ensure consistent quality assurance standards.

Duties

• Deploy appropriate staff to the projects
• Lead project supervisors in completing projects
• Document Controller for Projects
• Develop project reports on a timely basis
• Prepare project drawings in 2D or 3D such as built drawings, shop drawings etc.
• Create detailed drawings using computer software like AutoCAD or Revit.
• Ensure drawings meet Singapore's building regulations and standards.
• Review drawings carefully to correct errors.
• Maintain organized records of drawings and changes.
• Provide technical support to project teams.
• Perform any other tasks assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Min. Diploma in Civil Engineering / Fresh graduate are welcome and training will be provided
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, CAD as well as Sketch Up
• Understand and interpret instructions from architects and engineers.
• Able to work 5.5 days a week
• 2-3 years of working experience in construction or civil projects as a Drafter
• Conversant in English

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
Saturday 8.00am to 13.00pm
Location: Near Tai Seng Mrt
Salary: $3,000 - $3,500
