Castles is currently seeking a Field Support Technician to join our team in Singapore. This key role is responsible for providing around-the-clock technical support to our valued customers. About the Job
The Field Support Technician plays a key role within the Technical Support Team, handling customer requests for on-site support - including training, preparing, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting - all while ensuring a high level of merchant satisfaction.
Job Scope
• Collect new Terminals and Work Order from office; return existing Terminals and completed Work Order to office
• Preparation and loading of terminals.
• Go onsite to various merchant locations to replace existing Terminals with new Terminals; train merchant on terminal usage
• Fault Call to be done island wide in Singapore.
• Require merchants to sign the Work Order to confirm acceptance of the new Terminal and retrieval of old Terminal
• Check and confirm configuration and paperwork
Requirements
- No prior experience required as on-the-job training will be provided
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Valid Singapore Class 3 car/ van driving license or Class 2B motorcycle license
