Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Desktop Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our IT team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Support:
  Respond to and resolve user issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
  Assist users in configuring and troubleshooting desktop systems, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• System Maintenance:
  Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) and business applications.
  Ensure regular updates and patches are applied to all desktop systems.
• Network Support:
  Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues.
  Assist with setting up and maintaining network devices.
• Documentation:
  Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the IT service management system.
  Create and update user guides and technical documentation.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with the IT team to implement system upgrades and new technologies.
  Provide support during IT projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Education:
  Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience:
  1-3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and macOS systems.
  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications.
  Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Certifications (Preferred):
  CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
• Soft Skills:
  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
