Roles & Responsibilities

Test planning

• Understand test effort by analysing requirements.
• Develop test plan with details of scope, timeline, approach, etc.
• Collaborate with users, project managers, development team, and business analyst team to validate and refine test plan.

Test design

• Develop test cases based on documentation provided (e.g., functional specification, mapping document), including detailed inputs and expected outcomes covering functional flows across in-scope applications.
• Provide weekly progress on test case design.
• Create test data via channels, hosts, etc., applicable to execute test cases.
• Conduct reviews on test plan and test cases with project team.
• Update requirement traceability matrix (i.e., requirements mapping from the test cases back to the functional specification) to validate scope coverage.

Test execution

• Perform sanity checks by executing defined set of test cases to validate basic application flows are working after delivery of code drops.
• Perform automated and manual test execution, raise defects, and track progress.
• Document test results and validate them with users.
• Provide regular status updates to project team.
• Use popular tools such as Jira test execution and defect management.

Test closure

• Prepare sign-off form.
• Prepare test closure report.

Requirement and Skills

• Proven track record as an outstanding Analyst or consultant.
• Overall financial services industry knowledge with specific functional expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder relationship and effective communication skills
• Broad exposure and strong experience on shaping and driving test strategy, detailed Test Plan , test cases design , test data management and full cycle FT &NFT execution management of large scale projects
• Strong understanding of Agile and lean practices including agile and testing related certifications,.
• Excellent knowledge of test programme concerns including test data management ,testing policy , risk and issue reporting and resolution , test design and test development.
• Strong leader-ship and ability With experience in planning leading a team.
• Understanding application business area and application requirements specifically in banking environment
• Strong experience in managing UAT both in agile and waterfall delivery environment.
• Extensive hand on exp in test planning , test execution , test management , defect tracking skills& test progress reporting in cluding a variety of test management tools
• Skilled BA with relevant exp in coordination os SIT and UAT and multi phased project preferably in using Agile practise
