Institute For Digital Molecular Analytics & Science (IDMxS) is a unique interdisciplinary Research Centre of Excellence (RCE), funded by National Research Foundation, Ministry of Education (Singapore), Nanyang Technological University and National University of Singapore. Hosted by NTU, IDMxS is focused on development of core science to drive a paradigm shift in molecular detection and analysis to link the biomolecular world of life with the networked world of technology.

The Research Associate will work collaboratively with the researchers from the Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) on projects involving Solid Pharmaceutical Formulation, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical analysis, Formulation Science, Advances in Drug Delivery, publish research results, and apply for research funding to support research projects centered around microbiological techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with IDMxS researchers on projects involving biomedical analysis and microbiology.
• Develop innovative experimental techniques and methods
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Record, manage, and store collected data in line with NTUs data management policies
• Disseminate results in the form of peer-reviewed publications and presentations at international conferences
• Publish research in scientific journals.
• Apply for competitive research funding and manage funded research projects
• Mentor junior researchers and students

Job Requirements:

• Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology or similar.
• Laboratory techniques such as bacterial culture, cell culture, MIC etc.,
• Analytical techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, CDImaging.
• Imaging Techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Confocal Microscopy etc.
• Familiar with GraphPad Prism.
• Demonstrable experience as peer-reviewed publications is preferred.
• Motivation and leadership in pursuing challenging scientific questions.
• Be able to work independently and collaborate efficiently in a highly diverse and interdisciplinary team.
