‍ Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our growing technical team. You will be responsible for both on-site and remote support of our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be familiar with server hardware, basic configuration of network switches, and Linux system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for physical servers and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and maintain server hardware, including component replacement and diagnostics.
• Perform basic setup and configuration of network switches.
• Monitor, maintain and optimize Linux-based systems and server environments.
• Assist in data center operations, cabling, racking, and inventory documentation.
• Respond to technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Students pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or any related field are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of Linux system administration (CentOS/Ubuntu/RHEL preferred).
• Familiarity with server hardware architecture (e.g., Dell, Huawei, Supermicro).
• Basic knowledge of networking (e.g., VLAN, IP addressing, switch setup).
• Hands-on experience with tools like SSH, rsync, systemd, or basic scripting is a plus.
• Willingness to travel locally to data centers or client sites as required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• ✅ Ability to communicate in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) to coordinate with Chinese-speaking engineering teams and vendors.
