Established in 1973, our client specializes in the design and manufacture of high-quality power distribution and control systems for global customers. With a fully integrated in-house facility, they cover ranging from design, production, testing, and servicing.

Job Description:
- Costing & estimation of switchboards, etc.
- Assist in preparation of quotations, technical data, compiling brochures, catalogues & technical details, layout dimensional drawings, etc. required for submission to clients.
- Handle in-door sales enquiries / telephone sales enquiries.
- Assist Sales Engineers in following-up for orders.
- Develop & implement use of computer for costing, estimation & quotations. Set-up and improve on standardised costing method.
- Check & compare costing / estimation against actual costs for awarded job. Budget planning & control for jobs.
- Responsible for correct / accuracy of acceptable level in costing.
- Sourcing of components / parts with assistance from Purchasing Department, for better alternatives, improvements, cost effective, etc. when required.
- Assist in co-ordination work (internal or external).
- Ad-hoc tasks / responsibilities as assigned by the superiors.
- Follow the procedures of the Quality Management System for effective implementation and control.

Job Requirements:
- At least Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Prefer 1 - 3 years' experiences in project cost estimating in electrical engineering industry.
- Switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) cost estimating experience is an advantage.

Compensation:
- 5-days work week from 8.15am to 5.45pm
- 14 days annual leave
- 14 days medical leave
