Brief Job Description

Technical Lead with scripting skills

1. System Lead should be well-versed in one of more of these technologies: Windows 2016/2019 OS, Active Directory, Elastic Stack, Logstash, MS SQL Server 2016/2019, eG Innovations, etc.
2. System Lead should be able to gather requirements, design, and develop scripts in one or more of these languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash, and YAML configurations.
3. System Lead will be assisting us in the some of these activities
a. Implementing enhancements to log system such as installing agent to collect logs from servers, log parsing using logstash, etc.
b. Implementing new GPO policies to align with JTC's windows security baseline
c. Implementing security baseline verifications scripts for Windows and SQL security baseline, Redhat, etc.
d. Implementing custom monitoring scripts for integration with existing monitoring system using bash, python, powershell.
e. Assist PM to oversee, perform and report on migration of databases
4. System Lead will support PM to transition existing infra projects into ATFM operations performing activities such as
a. Assist in completion of release checklist and transition checklist
b. Develop and test SOP's for handover to ATFM
c. Write scripts to automate some of the periodic recurring activities
