Role Summary:

We are actively seeking a talente with a PLC Controls Engineer to design PLC programs, integrate them with syncOS, and execute on-site installations.

Responsibilities:

PLC Program Development

• Design and develop PLC programs for industrial automation and syncOS integration.

• Work with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, or other PLC platforms.

• Implement motion control, safety interlocks, and data exchange with syncOS.

Integration & Coordination

• Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth interaction between syncOS and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Work with communication protocols such as ModbusTCP, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, MQTT and other protocols.

On-Site Execution & Testing

• Conduct on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of PLC systems.

• Ensure seamless hardware-software integration in real-world environments.

Educational Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or equivalent with atleast 2+ years experience in the field of industrial automation.

Key skills candidate(s) must possess:

• Practical experience in designing & implementing integrated solutions using conveyors, cobots, mobile robots, etc.

• Strong knowledge on component selection such as power converters, motors, drives, sensors, PLC, etc. based on technical requirements.

• Knowledge on various interfacing protocols such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, Modbus, OPC server, etc.

• Must have PLC programming experience with Siemens or Allen Bradley PLCs

• Hands on experience on load calculation and wire/cable selections.

• Must have practical experience in preparing electrical schematic diagrams using AutoCAD.

• Prior experience working on mobile robot integrated solutions is an added advantage.
