EngineeringWe are seeking a motivated Research Officer / Research Technologist to join our translational research team at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge immunotherapy research focused on lung cancer. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting biochemical, molecular, and cellular biology experiments aimed at advancing novel cancer immunotherapies. You will work closely with a collaborative team of three senior researchers under the guidance of Dr. Amit Jain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cancer vaccine development, including blood and tissue sample processing, cell culture, and functional cell-based assays.
- Perform immunology assays, including immune cell isolation and primary T-cell functional analysis.
- Conduct clinical immune monitoring assays to evaluate treatment responses in lung cancer patients.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of experimental records and research data.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Immunology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience working in a translational research laboratory is preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and comfort in a fast-paced research environment.
- Competence in following and executing detailed experimental protocols and SOPs.
