Requirements
- Carryout maintenance, repair and overhaul work on vehicles (Opel, EV & commercial vehicles), ensuring minimum turnover time for schedules repairs and inspections to meet workshop's service standards and according to job order
- Ensure high standard of workmanship and avoid any come back job
- Notify team leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts for recommendation
- Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and tidiness in the workshop, including proper handling of tool and equipment's
- Requisitions and pick up vehicles and equipment parts from the store to complete work assignment
- Ensure proper handling of customer vehicle and good housekeeping of work area
- Practice safe and proper engineering practices in accordance with manufacturer or workshop instructions and procedures
- Complete work order for each vehicle and unit services, listing items replaced and material used, instructions and procedures
- Performs other related duties as required by team leader or superiors
- Assist team leader to control on unnecessary usage/wastage of workshops' materials and non-chargeable repair
- Maintain and take ownership of individual tradesman tools, workshop tools
- Provide technical guidance to technicians on more complex repair work
- Cooperate with Team Leaders or any other supervisor to ensure customer requirements are met
- Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum NTC 2 or NITEC 2 in Automotive Technology
- 2-3 years experiences in automotive electrical repair (relevant diploma qualification e.g. Technical Engineer Diploma)
- Class 3 Driving License advantageous
- Must able to read electrical diagram and knowledge on usage of multimeter and insulation meter. (Tested during interview)
