Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and highly organized Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure timely and successful delivery. This role involves reviewing system designs, supervising installations, and managing communication with stakeholders. Strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential to ensuring project quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning and scheduling to ensure timely execution and alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations and address project requirements.
• Attend site meetings as required, professionally representing the company and providing technical insights.
• Ensure the timely submission of personal timesheets, expense reports, project tracker updates, and other required documentation on a weekly basis.
• Review system designs before installation, identifying and addressing technical, functional, or compatibility issues while ensuring compliance with client standards.
• Supervise and manage installation teams, including internal technicians and local service partners, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager, supporting efficient resource planning and project execution.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience working within security and communication systems installations, servicing, or design.
• Proven organizational and troubleshooting skills in security systems.
• Practical aptitude with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make informed decisions.
• Strong logical problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• High standards of quality work and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets.
• Proficiency in IT, particularly in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous.
• Demonstrable knowledge of IP technology and a basic understanding of networking (e.g., Cisco, TCP/IP, routing, and switching).
