Our client, a leading Japanese chemical plant company in Jurong Island, has been looking for a Process Technician - Wastewater Treatmen t .

Job Functions:

• Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment (WWT) system and utilities, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.
• Assist in cultivating biological sludge for the wastewater treatment process.
• Carry out periodic testing of the acid, salient and other chemical contents of the wastewater system.
• Ensure cleanliness of work area, upkeeps equipment and assist in maintenance program and operating of machinery and equipment.
• Assist in operations of other machinery and equipment such as boilers, pumps, motors etc.
• Assist in the annual clean-up of the water tanks and systems.
• Follow QESH-MS Work Procedures and SOP.

Job Requirements

• O-Levels or NITEC in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in Wastewater Treatment process
• Self-disciplined, good team player,
• Responsible and independent worker
• Familiar with ESH regulations
• Computer-literate
• Good communication skills
• Hands-on and multitask
